Latex comes from a single species of tree called Havea Brasilliensis, which are native to South America, South East Asia and Malaysia. Latex is often blended with synthetic latex and can be processed with either Talalay or Dunlop methods.

Types of Latex
STANDARD (DUNLOP)
Latex processed in the traditional manner; firmer, less expensive, less uniform batch to batch.
TALALAY
Latex processed with flash freezing; slightly softer, more expensive, more uniform batches, shape recovery.
ORGANICALLY GROWN
Created using only raw latex taken from certified 100% organic rubber trees, with no synthetic latex added. While the raw material is certified organic, the end product cannot be as the processing of latex requires the addition of chemicals, preventing organic certification.
